It’s a pain to get other app stores to get uptake on Android since Google refuses to let other app stores be distributed via Google Play. So if Steam starts to distribute games for Android, the Steam app would be thrown out from Google Play.
It’s the same reason why the F-droids user base is so small and will never reach the main public. As soon as your app store needs to be installed via a third party web site, you have lost.
Yes, if you want it to. There is a pwa button that appears on pwa supported sites that lets you toggle between app window mode and normal browse tab mode.
Fullscreen will hide the window decorations, but that won’t solve the use case of “behaving like a desktop application”. I use PWAs for websites that are applications (Outlook, Teams, Spotify etc). I want these windows to be dedicated to those applications and nothing else. They should appear in my window list on alt+tab, not be able to navigate away to something else etc.

Odd choice to use Android 11 on one of them and Android 14 on the other. Makes me suspicious of their ability to keep these devices up to date over time.
Yes, unstable Debian is still hella stable. But you probably don’t want to suggest it as the first Linux dust since you need some extra carefulness when updating.
I agree with this but I suspect that a lot of the backend is dependent on other in-house infrastructure so it’s not as easy as most people think.
