Whichever one you say, I say the other one.
But the FrEe MaRkEt!! Or something. Yeah, I don’t miss the /r/conservative idiots either.
And Lemmy is disproportionately representative of the 1/3 who are aware.
If you look at the comments on a random public social media post, you’ll find the delusional third or half.
It basically boils down to where they’re getting their information, or rather, whether it’s information or “information”. A large swath of the population is so propagandized by right wing rag “media” that they are functionally incapable of rational thought.
Good in theory, but they’ve probably already stolen all the data, considering they had root access and wheeled in unauthorized hardware.
… and the sign said the bytes of the distro are written to the SD card …. if they’re un-tar’d …
Well… I thought it was relevant and humorous, and the rules don’t say the submissions have to be news. I might be stretching the definition of “discussions” but, figured it was worth a try :-)
Haha, plot twist! That doesn’t sound very useful.
How quickly did it burn disk space? I occasionally have to resize my Lemmy VM for the Postgres database, but I’m still on the free tier for object storage after like 1.5 years of running this. I would imagine a photo sharing site would crunch through disk a lot quicker though.
Running x86 games under Rosetta on Apple Silicon has been super playable for me, both Intel Mac binaries and Windows games under WINE. So I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible on Linux or Windows, assuming they spend enough time and care writing the translation layer.
Yea what the hell, why us?
Thanks, that’s an interesting overview. I guess it might be worth checking it out, but like you say, I like the simplicity of Lightroom CC and 85% of the time you only want 5% of the tools, auto correct and basic histogram adjustments.
Anyone using this as their main program over Lightroom or Luminar? Would be interested to hear a pros and cons take
40 euros! Paying just 30€ for 10Gb/s in Portugal…
I guess summarizing notifications is mildly useful. Other than that, it seems like they’re just embracing the current zeitgeist (or really, meme). I can’t believe the whole industry has become so head-over-heels enamored with LLMs. What a waste of talent, time and energy for so many people.
Chemtrails!!! They’re turning the freakin’ frogs gay!!!111

Okay, but I mean, 60 million versus 30 thousand. The former is effectively “infinite”, I mean how many hours would it take you to walk that far?
That’s a really interesting point. Neat!
That’s better than I was thinking. But still, nothing beats “infinite”.
This is one of those cases where you’d really rather have been wrong.
