The lack of a good server-side managament software for ebooks keeps astonishing me. I check back ever so often but the recommendations are always the same. It’s either calibre-web, calibre with library on a network share or Kavita.

I’ve seen that audiobookshelf and jellyfin can apparently also handle books but I don’t know how well the support is implemented.

Because I have a very peculiar way of organizing my book collection I need a utility which can export to a specific folder structure and file naming scheme and ideally allows exporting the entire library at once.

Anti-Cheat software seems to be the last hurdle preventing widespread compatibility with Linux. Even when there is a linux version of an anti-cheat (BattleEye has a Linux version I believe) companies don’t use that and still restrict their game to windows. How do you sync it wirelessly? The most common solution I found online for wireless book transfer was to use the web browser on the kobo and download books from the calibre content server

Is that the flexiclick system thingy where you can switch out the head?

I’ve been looking at buying that myself when I finally need a drill for myself but I keep being tempted by the 18V version which has the same system but also has battery compatibility with a larger range of their other tools (at a much higher pricepoint…)

I use KeepassXC which is free and open-source. The passwords are stored as an encrypted file on your own system. No servers or businesses involved.

Personally I put mine in onedrive so it is synced between all of my devices though, so I guess there is still a server involved in that case

I did have a look at their tutorial and found it very technical, difficult to read and was unable to find any information on whether it is possible to send characters/text that are not part of the current keyboard layout. From what you describe I can guess now that kmonad is not really suited to what I am trying to achieve though.
