- Actions should be compatible with github actions for the most part, they’re easy to work with and there’s a ton available
- Iirc images in the registry are somehow tied to repos? I messed with it last year and it was something like that. Documentation is a little sparse in that area because it hasn’t been touched since they forked from gitea lol
- Renovate easily runs through their actions equivalent

Gamma@beehaw.orgto Gaming@beehaw.org•Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a Masterpiece, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an IndulgenceEnglish10·1 month agoDefinitely agree! I barely played TotK because, aside from the flying stuff together aspect, I’d already done everything I wanted in BotW. I did my exploring, my climbing, my juggling weapons during combat. I’ve done had more than my fill of those dinkly little shrines.
BotW is better imo because of what it was: new and surprising. TotK was good but (aside from some gimmicks that made driving around a bit more creative and streamlined) more of the same.
Anyway thanks for sharing!

The exploration is part of why I love Snowrunner (et al.) so much. You end up spending a lot of time slowly working your way through mud, looking for anchor points and easier routes. It feels kinda like an “adventure metroidvania” where the challenge is learning how to navigate the world before giving you the tools to blast through.
I recommend disabling any minimap in any game ever. Little dotted line syndrome is real and harms immersion!
Also hard rec for Any Austin, one of my favorite recent discoveries!

It’s violating and ghoulish.
But I thought vibe coding was good actually 😂

Fun game, just wish they didn’t pop up tutorials any time they thought a player might be a little confused.
Also played a tutorial for Wingspan and was a bit overwhelmed but it seemed interesting. I need to sit down and give it a good play through to understand

If you’re into game dev or retro games in general, Dev Game Club is a small podcast where the hosts play old games and discuss their design + influence on games that would come later. I don’t think they even have a patreon lol
