The real answer to this is hospitals would never let a good cash cow die. Hospitals will not refuse treatment just drown you in debt for the rest of your life.

Twice a day, but I occasionally miss the one at night after a night out. Still haven’t had any cavities!

Going on a solo trip really helped me learn to practice mindfulness and to just slow down and enjoy what’s going on around me.

Bunch of idiots just casually fucking with the atmosphere. It’s annoying that governments don’t do anything but vigilante terraforming isn’t the answer.

I figure stopping participating is more important than going back and deleting it.

Faendol@sh.itjust.worksOPto Technology@lemmy.ml•How super intelligence will either be the best thing or the worst thing to ever happen.English0·2 years agoIt is very old, however I’d argue the content within it is completely theoretical and divorced from what our modern AI can achieve. It would be interesting if they could address GPT within it but it really doesn’t impact the ideas within it.
Faendol@sh.itjust.worksto Technology@lemmy.ml•European Union votes to bring back replaceable phone batteries2·2 years agoHeck yeah! I’m planning on getting a framework laptop when I next need an upgrade and if I get any input on the decision I’ll be pushing for the corporate company I work at to adopt them. I’m admittedly not sure I’m ready to jump on the fairphone train yet but I’m open to the idea.

I’m not sure a scenario exists where going back to reddit is a good idea. They are going public and that’s not gonna change. Being a public company means they are going to chase the money and if they don’t today they will burn down the platform to make more money later.
Do you think it’s better than the website as a PWA? I’ve been using that and I’m fairly happy with it. There’s definitely some weirdness here and there.

I switched to DuckDuckGo a while ago and haven’t regretted it at all. I honestly barely notice the difference. Realistically I should switch to firefox next but I’m pretty ingrainded in google chrome admittedly.
Faendol@sh.itjust.worksto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What kinds of things from reddit would you like to see Lemmy avoid as the user base grows?3·2 years agoI definitely get what you mean and I think the idea that you can get away with no censorship is naive. However, they could just as easily be talking about r/conservatives use of conservative only posts and their banning of anyone sharing opposing viewpoints.
Cool, I guess it’s time to uninstall boost then. Guess I’m on Lemmy for the foreseeable future!
