If there’s a game that doesn’t work on Linux because of anti or something it probably won’t work in a vm either so dual booting would probably be the way to go to avoid that

I was kind of surprised that comet that’s been visible at night was only discovered like a year ago. Crazy to think that would be the warning time of anything coming to hit us

Was it working fine before? I’ve been using Bluetooth headphones and wireless mouse on popos for a few months now and only had an issue on a machine yesterday. I think it was because I was swapping the drive with the os on the several different motherboards to test different cpus

I think that’s what popos comes with, never looked into what the differences are between them or why one would want to switch

Ok yeah after running more tests from the site I did see mine show up on some of them but I’ve only been able to compare to other recent results. I haven’t seen anyway to filter the results by cpu or gpu without it sending me to Google search which doesn’t help.

Haha I assumed we had like a corporate IT that was just always there approving and denying requests. Until one time I had requested a photo editing app and weeks later I got an email from my local IT guy saying it wasn’t going to be approved. I was shocked he responded and shocked that he was the dude that was getting all my angry requests all along lol. I couldn’t even install our own companies software to test our products it’s insane

For us you get a popup that sends a ticket to IT and you have to fill out a reason why you need to do whatever it is you are trying to do. Then you wait like 10 minutes and try again to see if it was approved. If it asks for permission again then you need to assume they rejected it

ok so if its being passed on to the GPU then that actually makes me think its that. I bought this GPU used from a buddy and was having issue’s with my wife’s machine playing GTA5, I thought the GPU just couldnt handle it but maybe it has an issue

For me it’s anything like excalidraw or something like Google sheets. They work fine until I change tabs and come back then it’s blank. But if I move the arrow keys or scroll wheel then every comes in and out of existence or stays on the screen even if I select another sheet until I close and reopen the site. But I never noticed this issue before moving to Linux so maybe it’s an issue on my machine
