I didn’t watch it and only listened, so I can’t say much about the video parts. Aside from one lame sponsor plug, her presentation of the information was good. Her UK accent isn’t so strong it’s hard to understand.

It’s always a sad thing to hear but 94 and leaving a mark that puts him up there with the greatest minds of all time. Bravo, sir. Bravo!

Same. My friends are playing it but I’m not interested.

I waited until it dipped below $50 recently to pick it up. I knew it was not being reviewed well and a couple of my friends were happy with it.

It is a pretty game, but it is not a good game by any reasonable measurement. The story does not pull you in. The main characters are not engaging. The big city you visit feels like its full of paper dolls wearing one of 5 sets of clothing moving around in ways that makes zero sense.

What really drove me crazy was that they pair you up with a bot that walks around with you but it gets in the way all the time. Its walking on top of you most of the time.

The biggest beef I have is that I have played all of the Bethesda games since Morrowind, I even beat that game. I don’t care that Oblivion is silly and full of dumb. Its one of my favorite games because of the story development and the characters and the expansive world that is full of life. The people moving in the towns feel like they are going somewhere. The towns feel like they are put together with meaning. Skyrim is a high water mark in video gaming. We don’t even need to get into that.

Starfield falls flat many times. The enemy AI is stupid as anything I have ever experienced.

Its not a BAD game, its just not a good game. The graphics arn’t even very special.

Reading that dev’s opinion is almost as much a waste of time as playing Starfield

that’s a good question, all the mavericks are getting old. There needs to be some fresh blood in the game, mixing it up on these titans!

It’s small in how many people are actually employed in the company.

I kinda doubt that Valve would sell. They are a small private company and from what I know, the owner group are already wealthy beyond understanding.

Plus I think that breaking the Microsoft monopoly on gaming is Gabe’s mission in life. For those that might not remember, Gabe Newell was the biggest name that moved gaming from DOS to Windows. The fact that Gabe was a part of the golden age of Microsoft and never went back and his company is a thorn in the side of Microsoft constantly… While Gabe is still alive, I don’t see Valve ever being anything but a private owned company.

I looked at Reddit for the first time in a long while yesterday. I had trimmed my subscribed subs to just essential, this is the only place on the web with this community like things.

So I look at my front page and I am still subscribed to more then 20 subreddits. But what is my #3 link but a 0 score off topic post. WTF reddit? Why is that even being promoted by your algorithm? I laughed at it and showed my wife and then closed the site without even looking at anything else.

Once I had a customer report that her computer was giving her out of disk space errors. This was weird because we script their My Documents and Desktop to network file shares. Like wtf could be using up the disk? While walking to their system I figured the drive was going bad. Nope.

Just a 250+GB log file from a chat program that they used. Like OMG that was amazing

BeyondPod is what I have been using for a bunch of years now. If you don’t pay for it, it will show you ads but purchasing it removes that. It is only on Android though.
