I was in DC for Trump’s first Reich and it was all just MAGA hats going around acting like they were triggering the libs by buying overpriced shit on the mall. But in general, they are shit people so they make for shit tourists as well.

Honestly a lot of people in this thread clearly don’t get out much. There’s plenty of high enr boutique chocolatiers in the US, they just aren’t on the shelves at Walmart.
This is possibly the stupidest thing ever written by someone who is not a Lemmy dev.
Is this really a debate?

I can almost guarantee you they are using it through a VPN or they have a western SIM card. If not I’d love to know what server they use, as I’ve tested this a bunch of times on several public and private servers and it’s always the same result. If it isn’t blocked on day 1 it will be blocked quickly.
China will definitely block xmpp on any port. I know this because I have tested this very specifically from my own server. It lasted about a day and a dozen messages before it was blocked, and the box got absolutely slammed with vulnerability scans.
It also just gets blocked by autocratic firewalls. Deltachat is clutch because it can theoretically run on top of any email host so it’s way more difficult to block.
The protections for classified information are not just about information security. They are about physical and operational security as well. That’s why s SCIF has a “two locks” policy, and requires things like 4" steel doors.
SELinux isn’t really meant to be a user space “utility,” for lack of a better term. It’s meant to be an expert focused security framework for those with the expertise to both understand and implement robust security policies. Your average user daily driving Linux or even running a few self hosted services doesn’t really need complex security policies, and is definitely better served by some simpler tools.
This is the big limitation for all fast charging claims. EV battery packs are already very thermally constrained. Faster charging will require more active cooling, which means lower pack density due to the added coolant, compressors and radiators. There is no free lunch here. Even the mythical solid state batteries are going to have the same thermal limitations on charging without some breakthrough in portable cryogenics or high temp superconductors.
If you are going to spend money on a gun, at least also spend money on steel doors and real locks for your bedrooms. If someone breaks in and actually means you harm, having a defensible keep is far and away the most important aspect of home security.
But 99.9999% of the time, anyone who breaks into your house just wants your shit and not confrontation. Which is why insurance is more important than any gun.
Well, not to the US at least.
Abortion is not a moral hazard at all. Most people who might exist don’t. The whole “everyone agrees abortion is awful…” shit is obnoxious. I legitimately do not care. I am far more concerned about the lives of actual children. Once we seriously tackle that issue, we can move upstream, and this should be viewed as both incentive and a purity test for those who pretend to care about the “unborn.”
You literally just use a sponge and some bleach spray and like a minute of your time. If you replenish it daily your normal water chlorine should keep most of the bad shit at bay.
The weight gain is really the big sign shit is going down hill. I’ve been making a series of changes since about age 35, and each time the new diet or exercise routine works for like a year or two and then the weight slowly creeps back up. At this point I literally ride a bike 200 miles per week and I will still gain weight slowly if I eat breakfast. It makes no sense.
NSFW is the only one that makes sense tbh. Reddit’s interface would actually be pretty good for an OF like subscription service considering how much OF advertising already exists.
But I strongly suspect they are going to try to do something dumb like tech support or tutoring which nobody is going to pay for.
