I dunno about this. My microwave beeps 4 times.
Why do people keep telling me to ask Al about these questions? He’s just my next door neighbor for god’s sake
The text healing that is mentioned in the link
Does anyone know if Jetbrains Mono also does the whole dynamic width thing?
Eternity (so far)
Does anyone know how to access the Image Viewer that the GNOME release notes are talking about? Right now, I have the Eye of GNOME set as my image viewer, but I was wondering if that should’ve been upgraded.
Oh ok. Yeah, I just scale my fonts too. It’s a shame since I heard from somewhere that they were going to fix that fractional scaling issue in this release, but I guess not.
I thought we would get fractional scaling? I still only see the 100%, 200%, and 300% options in my display settings. Am I missing something or was this for a future release?
Spelunky 2, Terraria, Dead Cells
Visual Studio Code. It has great defaults out of the box, is highly customizable and extensible, has near universal support for every programming language, and runs reasonably fast on my machines.
So I just installed the latest version of Steam on Arch Linux and whenever I start it up it has a popup saying “Failure - invalid app configuration”. After I close the popup, I’m able to access Steam normally, but I’d rather not have to do that on every startup.
Anyone having the same issue?
Yeah definitely not a fan of that either. Sure hope they remove it in a future version.
Infinity was an excellent app. Was customizable enough for my needs and didn’t intrude on my experience with ads or other stuff. Sad to see it go. I will probably just stop using it and just use Lemmy from now on.
Yeah probably a lot will. But I can imagine myself staying for a long time and I think there will be still enough members on Lemmy to keep this thing going.
I have the Kinesis Freestyle Edge keyboard and so far I love it. The split definitely helps in allowing my shoulders to be more relaxed. And I feel like the tilt definitely helps as well, though I wouldnt set the tilt to be too high, as it may cause issues with typing.
Now if only we can also improve battery and energy transportation technology in the next 5 years…
If given a choice between Mastodon (with all its flaws) and anything by Meta, I would always choose Mastodon.
I feel like the title is being a bit sensationalist. As bad as the Rust Foundation debacles are, I don’t think I would characterize this situation as “Rust is being destroyed”.
Yeah, I wish this post was presented more clearly.
