Having access to information about who voted on a post would allow people to locate brigading1 efforts and detect bots spamming down/upvotes on posts. Currently, only admins can access this information, which makes it harder for users to report such behaviour to them.

Or provide the empire controlling most of the bots, extra ammunition to have AI determine a social credit score for everyone. Winner gets a free trip to El Salvador.

  • Right way to measure governments is oligarchist corruption. All CIA approved democracies fail at this, and so not in the slightest a beneficial model. Trade shouldn’t be viewed as bad. Corruption and subjugation are bad, and trade deals should be looked at only under that framework.

  • Every piece of land can be useful. US’s current friendship with/lordship over NATO would get any project it wants done, and allow any shipments/trade routes to/from America. Project value is overblown due to high development costs and distance to markets.

The reason you will hear economics and defense from enemies motives, is that is the sweetest sounding lie. It would increase the purchase price if Denmark citizens knew that Denmark government and its king are selling to US to improve its capabilities to murder all Danes.

  • headline not claimed. 1 km2 as a continuous flat surface that can be pointed at sun is 250mw from commercial cells. Outside of our atmsophere, irradiance boost is only 33%. so 340mw. Geosynchronous over China will only gain up to 3 hours per day of sun. That can be a 75% boost in average daily power.

except microwave energy transmission… While a 50% efficient transmission is possible (effectively 250mw earth equivalent delivered), it needs a 100 square km receiver array. Even at 150mw per square km earth solar, is enough space for 15gw of solar.

So, it only makes sense at much larger scale, and only makes sense if denser energy costs as astronomically high as such a project. Beaming energy to other points in space, or even remotely powering a spacecraft are applications.

  • 1mw chargers are proposed for trucking, and exist. A smaller battery being able to charge at 10C is the breakthrough. The cars on 1000v platform and 1086hp for $37300-$45000 announced… is a huge deal. I don’t think even expensive supercars have been announced at 1000v.

10C discharging has typically been reserved for small RC plane battery chemistries. LFP chemistries have supported charging at 10C but only with rapid degradation, compared to sane levels. Usual 30%-80% restrictions are likely to apply.

  • Not clear why you need to bring up Russophobia on every topic. Plenty of US right wing and oil funding for destabilizing Canada, all the while supporting the demonism of war on Russia, by pretending that high diesel/home heating fuel was the result of carbon tax. The full CIA puppetry of all western political leaders meant never addressing the actual cause of fuel inflation, and if a Russian narrative could reach Canadians/west, it would point out the extreme hypocricy of such attacks.

The point of your anti-Russia claims, with even the more absurd “US wants Greenland to gift it to Russia”, is that every response to a US empire/oligarch enshittification is to escalate vs Russia.

Not that unprogrammed Canadians exist, but the only hope for the country is to de-escalate against the enemies the US has chosen for the country. There could be some minimal hope that an economist brain acts rationally.
