Crypto is a bit more difficult, I don’t think there’s a universal crypto logo/icon. Perhaps Bitcoin will suffice.

Currently the information is shown when hovering over (“Based on a median European €50,000 software developer salary from developersalary.com”), which is behaviour expected when you hover over an (i)-icon (or a question mark). If you put in an asterisk, there should be somewhere on the bottom of this element that refers to said asterisk to indicate the extra info. It’s not intuitive to having to mouse-over an asterisk, imo.

Seems like Glance is an app from the manufacturer, if you have a Motorola. It makes your lock screen dynamic and adds content to watch and stuff.

Don’t think it’s a problem but you could force stop and disable or uninstall it.

Don’t have an answer for which app is using the camera. Check your permissions like the other comment mentions, that’ll get you closer to figuring it out.

Was a tough choice because instances usually host a ton of other communities and users but it just became unbearable like you mentioned.

edit: a side-effect is that users from a blocked instance replying to your comments will not show up in your inbox. Figured I should mention that so you can weigh the pro’s and con’s

It does require you to use Ubisoft Connect, but it’s already embedded with the Steam download. You also still need to link your Connect account to Steam.

Yeah, signing up to a bot instance isn’t going to be a fun local experience. I blocked that instance a while ago because it doesn’t add any value to the fediverse (imo)

Lemy.nl is just news outlets and traditional media having bot accounts and posting their content. There are almost no discussions or human content on that instance

Why not both? Filter support would mean you’d have to update your list continuously based on current politicians and depend on certain words being used in the title/body.

A tag would still mean you’d have to depend on OP to select the right one (or perhaps on a mod to assign the right one), but at least the amount of variables would be infinitely less complex
