I loved this at first but then the complexity of the various mechanics seemed to take a sharp rocket ship upwards through the roof. I got kind of lost and then tried to read the wiki guide and it was like a book, so that was that. I really wanted to like it though! Maybe I should give it another go.

Do you know what happened to it? Just curious.
Also the other instance I was using … vlemmy.net … has been down for like a week now. I wonder if it’s completely done for?

He could not care any less about any of this. He’s just the faceman right now taking all the heat on purpose for that sweet sweet ipo cash out. Money is all that matters at this point. He’s burning the entire company down to the ground just to cash out and disappear from public life.
Completely agree. Usually with these colony builder style games, I run into several problems where I just don’t understand how the systems are implemented, and the game does a poor job of explaining stuff. But on this Steamworld Build, I never ran into that. Everything made sense, and I loved expanding and placing my buildings, and moving stuff around etc… REALLY well done on their part. Very much looking forward to the release.
Same! Dig 2 was sooooo good. And there aren’t many like it really. Searching for all the powerups, making notes about spots on the map. Loved it. Dig 3 would be an instant purchase for me, I hope they get around to it next after Build.

Happy that there is visible weakness in Putin’s power, which could maybe lead to his eventual removal from power which would be amazing. Very frightening though that the ones replacing him might have the same goals as Putin, except this time, actually be competent at their jobs. That’s a horrible outlook for Ukraine. Oh man…

Is that where the all section just constantly keeps loading more and more and more and you can’t even use it because it’s flying downwards?

Whoa! I didn’t even know about this game and Sony is one of my all time favs. I’ll have to look it up.
A friend and I had an absolute blast playing this last year. Loved the music so much!
Jarmer@kbin.socialto Gaming@beehaw.org•One of Steam’s best strategy games is free right now1·2 years agoI’m the same. On paper, Stellaris sounds like a game that could be my all time #1. It has everything I love in games, but my lord … the learning curve. I have tried it three times now and I could just never get over it. It’s like it’s not even a curve lol, it’s a flat straight up vertical wall.
Bluesky … “repeating the same twitter mistakes all over again, yay!”

Jarmer@kbin.socialto Gaming@beehaw.org•How many steam deck folks are here and what are you playing?2·2 years agoI definitely think so yes. Don’t worry about any build guides, or handholding. Build your character however you like! I’m having a great time and I’m nowhere near a hardcore player. If you keep it on World Tier 1 (difficulty wise) you will be absolutely fine. It’s a blast to play.
does Doom count? Because my friends and I still play the game to this day, all the various community mods and maps.
