I would argue that the British Empire and Belgium were pretty fucking evil long before the US came into existence.

It’ll be a couple of years before I build a new desktop, but I’m already looking forward to using an AMD graphics card for the first time in over a decade.
Your son has ice in his veins. I’m very impressed.
I remember the first time I soloed Lavos with Chrono. Helluva great feeling.
To be fair, the plague in Hebrew (Egyptian?) is צפרדע /tz’fardei’ah, which looks like a singular and not a plural. I totally see where he’s coming from. But also, I thought it was in Midrash Tanchuma.
חג פסח שמח!

It’s Arch based, but easier to install and use. I recently switched to Garuda, also Arch based, but focused more on the gaming community.
I did select a number of programs to install during setup so I had everything I needed. Spot on!
That’s really cool! Didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing, since I’ve just subscribed to the community.
Sorry about that. I’ll keep that in mind if this gets taken down. Thanks!
GFGJewbacca@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Testing request: Fedora 40 on NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs1·1 year agoI’ve been using those on my Fedora install without a hitch. I think I’m gonna go for the Garuda install today after I finish backing things up. Excited!
GFGJewbacca@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Testing request: Fedora 40 on NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs1·1 year agoWoah, you were involved in the project! That’s really cool. I’ve had Garuda on my mind for a while, and earlier today I was able to boot it off the live USB with NVIDIA proprietary drivers. That’s a really good sign for me, so I think I’m gonna go for it once I’ve backed things up.
GFGJewbacca@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•Testing request: Fedora 40 on NVIDIA RTX 3000 series GPUs5·1 year agoI have an ASUS ROG laptop running Fedora 39 right now. The reason Fedora is popular with these laptops is that the controller that switches between the two graphics cards is native to Fedora. It’s explicitly recommended on the site.
EDIT: It looks like there are more distros that work on ROG laptops since I did it. Pretty cool!
It’s part of the training. People are happier when they have food in their mouths, so that’s why waitstaff wait until your mouth is full before asking. That way, they can avoid complaints.
GFGJewbacca@lemm.eeto Linux@lemmy.ml•What are you most excited when it comes to linux in 2024?2·1 year agoI’ve been running Fedora 39 on my ASUS gaming laptop because it’s the only OS that natively supports the utility to deal with the discreet graphics card. I was thinking about using bazzite for the next gaming desktop I build. What do you think about it? I’ve been using Nobara on my Surface Pro 4, but I can’t update using dnf anymore because it would alter some protected drivers, and I don’t want that issue with another distro.

I love the characters and the whole idea behind, “conquer a hard thing just to say I did it.” To be fair, that is what it feels like when climbing mountains or other large rock structures
Plants vs Zombies is the best tower defense game out there. Y’all can fight me on that.
That always makes me think of this great moment from “Men In Black.”
The “live, laugh, love” pillow is a nice touch. I wouldn’t mind this kind of poltergeist in my house…as long as they make good design choices.
Yes! I wholeheartedly agree with you. There are pieces of GNOME I wish I could bring into KDE, and vice versa.
I’ve been running Nobara on my Surface Pro 4, which is based on Fedora. It comes with all the surface drivers built in, which really helps. It’s been working pretty well for me.
That’s a fair point. The US empire expanded tremendously after all the war profiteering from WW2, which allowed for the evil that we see today.
