It’s not pixelated but if you like Vampire Survivors you should totally check out Brotato!
It’s my first time, yeah. I’d never heard of the Fediverse at all until now.
Recycling is just a way for the corporations responsible for this to shift responsibility to us, and avoid accountability.
A Steamworld city builder? Weird, but I’m interested.
You can sub to whatever communities you want though, regardless of instance. So it doesn’t actually matter which one you join.
True, I went back to play AC1 and stopped midway through because I was bored. I remember AC2 being great but now I’m worried it was nostalgia.
Just Google, unless I’m looking to pirate something. Then I use Yandex.
Skyrim for sure. I have an embarrassing number of hours thanks to the modding community.
I’m waiting til after the blackout. Afterwords I’m pulling the plug.
I know you said you’re looking for something harder and more mature, but I cant help but recommend Pokémon Bushido, and Pokémon Xenoverse. Both excellent games imo.
There’s also a native pc port for Jak and Daxter, if anyone’s interested. I believe the team is also working on the other two games too.
Love to see Forgotten City getting recognition! I was in love with the original Skyrim mod.
Beehaw was super easy. It was literally just your typical sign up process for any website. For me the biggest hurdle initially was just understanding how all of this works, and how they all fit together.
Thanks for this, it actually helped a lot! I think I’m finally starting to figure things out lol. I do really like this idea though, as I think it’ll lead to a lot less friction in various communities than Reddit had, where fighting in the comments was just commonplace. Either way I’m excited to see how things progress!
And thank you again, I really appreciate it!
How do you think niche communities will succeed? Will they be more successful in more populated servers? Like should a Monster Hunter community be made in a server dedicated to gaming? Hoping this makes sense, I’m still trying to understand how it all works.
Me too! I’m torn due to the monetization, but damn if it isn’t a fun game. My only real issue is the scaling: since the world levels with you I never feel like I’m getting stronger.
I could never get into Fallout New Vegas, but for whatever reason playing it on the Steam Deck made it infinitely more enjoyable! I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Oh, and Mass Effect is perfect too.
Most of their games at this point are pretty different than Bethesda rpgs. Pentiment, Grounded, Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, Pathfinders, Stick of Truth etc. They’ve actually gone on to make some pretty unique titles, while Bethesda has milked the rpg cow for pretty much their entire existence.
