That’s fair. Storage has long been an annoying issue with Android, but yeah, I normally go the root option when all else fails. I’ve mostly just used it for network troubleshooting recently though, which doesn’t need any additional storage.

Termux should be enough in that case.

Yeah, I don’t mind checking into match threads now and then, but I don’t get the people that constantly monitor them, especially in the larger threads where you can barely discuss anything.

It reminds me of people that sit on their phones while watching a TV show/movie. Just defeats the point.

Also: wow there’s federated video sharing? Bet that’s not cheap to run.

They are particularly annoying on the Steam Deck and other handhelds where not being online is common.

Anyway, I dislike it in general but like you I’ve put up with it in some cases (see the Hitman series).

Not quite what you are asking for, but here’s a list of source ports of commercial games, most of which have Linux ports.

Oh and I’ll single out The Ur-Quan Masters as an older source port of Star Control II. Old enough that the port itself is nostalgic for me, although it’s still being updated by the looks of it.

I prefer the way XMonad handles multimonitor workspaces, but left for Sway due to wayland support.
