“Nazis were just a product of their time!”
Also known as snooggums on midwest.social and kbin.social.

Yes, and it was a lot more fun that working.
Maybe you played shitty games?
He said most, not all. If my parents had been more regimented about me eating every meal I probably would have had weight issues earlier on.
To spin it positively, being exception to the general trend makes you exceptional!
I don’t actively discriminate based on a poster’s instance, but there are a half dozen or so instances where there is a very high likelihood that they lean one way or another on different topics. If a post that could be read two ways then their instance can be a pretty reliable indicator that looking at their posting history will confirm which way they lean.
In a couple of cases I just blocked the communities that are the hot button issues for that instance because other communities are worth reading and interacting with.

Excessive amounts of food. I have to eat, but cutting back to the amount I should be eating for my age and physical activity is so tough.
The cause is binge eating in my youth when I was extremely active but didn’t eat three meals a day due to adhd absentmindedness. Frequently I would only have one or two meals a day, but eat two or more meals worth of calories at a time and burn it off in short order.
Now with family and a desk job with a scheduled lunchtime it is basically impossible to eat when I’m hungry instead of when it is ‘time to eat’ and portion control is a struggle. Quitting smoking required buying a house and quitting together with the wife, at least that had a cutoff date that I could say “I haven’t smoked since moving in”. Eating less is something I need to do every day!
Yeah, it isn’t like eggs are a massive part of my food costs.
The overall increase in food prices have more impact than one specific ingredient.
It also implies that actively ignoring opposing viewpoints is a negative thing.
There are plenty of negative and harmful things to exclude that don’t result in an echo chamber. Excluding nazis for example is not being a real echo chamber because there will never be anything new that could be said to keep it from being a hate based ideology.
I was mocking you.
While the final pose is practically identical to a Nazi solute, the motion is completely different.
“it’s only a nazi salute if it is from the Nazideuxe region of France!”
At home, sure, but I have to use it at work.
No outage for me.
Which won’t matter when the national abortion ban is passed.
I’ve quit smoking multiple times, sadly you can go back to it after some time if you decide to experiment with it to maybe teach yourself to be “casual smoker” (which you won’t be, believe me), or like in my case smoking weed mixed with tobacco has put me right back in nicotine addiction. I’ve quit smoking 2 years ago now, I was sick of that shit.
You took breaks. Maybe this last time is quitting, but not if you start back up again.
Hobbies, spending time wirh friends and families, eating, murdering vagrants, helping the needy, and some people even enjoy comraderie with people they work with.
It comes down to figuring out what makes you happy and if you have trouble you just need to try new things.
Motivation is why you want to do a thing.
Discipline is how you achieve that thing.
At that point go with a ridiculously long password to further decrease the odds of a lucky guess.
If the password is changed while the Planck Cruncher is doing its thing, and it changes to something that the PC has already guessed and tested negative, the PC is screwed.
Hint: Change your password regularly.
No.
In the real world having an actual high quality lengthty password is enough to deter anyone who is trying random accounts to move on for easier targets and anything that someone has physical access to, like law enforcement who confiscated something, will have an easier time bypassing the username and password process.
Changing passwords frequently leads to easier to break passwords, especially when you follow the practice of using a different one for different systems.
Yeah, fake it till you make it only applies to overcoming self doubt, and should not be used to dismiss glaring problems. It certaibly doesn’t work as a cure all for actual problems.
It can in rare cases work for happiness, but only if the reason is one that is just based on self doubt while things are actually going well.
No, literally zero other people hate wintertime.
Some people.love taking things literally despite obvious context though.
Winter time is standard time with the sun at the highest being noon. If we all want more sun in the evening then we should shave an hour off the workday and stop whining that the sun comes up earlier in the summer.
Kathy has range!
