I am two episodes into Freiren and it is fantastic. I should check out the Apothecary Diaries.
Is the poster specifically ignoring ongoing anime that went on from the summer, like JJK?
Takes about 8 hrs to setup properly. But once you do set your Nvidia card with Linux, you just never update your OS and cry to sleep every night.
So is this basically a lot of the same staff that would have been in the WIT Studio division that did Vivy? Cause they did an extremely good job on that anime original story. The fighting choreography was top notch too. But it could be just a select few of that Vivy staff and we should not expect the same thing.
Also, wasn’t there the Batman Ninja movie? I never saw it, but it could be another example of a western comic book property that got an anime adaptation.

I’ve delayed watching all that has been released though because of the production delays, so if there has been a dip, I have not seen it.

sealneaward@lemmy.mlto Anime@lemmy.ml•What upcoming seasonal anime are you most excited about?20·2 years agoJujutsu Kaisen for sure. I’m sure lots of people have either heard of or read the Shibuya arc, so I won’t repeat it anymore.
Tower of God is gonna be nuts for the new season. Season 1 was really good, but it is also similar to JJK Shibuya where the level up in content/writing/development is going to blow people away.

So want to recommend me some anime instead?1·2 years agoDon’t look anything up about it and just watch the first episode if you have a spare 1.5 hrs to spend. If you don’t like it then it’s easy to find out.
sealneaward@lemmy.mltolemmy.ml meta@lemmy.ml•lemmy.ml is migrated to a new serverEnglish1·2 years agoI agree with the kubernetes point. Not every problem needs it.
I was more curious about having a load balancer infront of an autoscaling group of servers with the existing images that you are running off of, minus the self hosted database server. Then you would be able to handle spikes automatically. Just curious if that has been thought of.
Having it accessible to everyone is great. For sure. But I was just thinking that having stronger pieces of infrastructure for instances that handle more traffic might be beneficial.
sealneaward@lemmy.mltolemmy.ml meta@lemmy.ml•lemmy.ml is migrated to a new serverEnglish0·2 years agoIs most of the discussion about the infrastructure done in a community here, or do you folks have an invite only discord/slack or something @nutomic@lemmy.ml?
I’ve been working in devops for 4 years now, but with mostly kubernetes and AWS, but I’d like to throw some ideas and just ask some more specific questions about the infrastructure. Like I’m curious why autoscaling the web servers and moving the database server to a dedicated instance is not the current configuration.
I’d there a Jerboa community? I’m assuming there is. That’s something I’d like to bring up to them.
Silver spoon is so underatted. Loved it. Top notch slice of life.
Yeah I guess you are right. What would that type of reincarnation genre be? Dr Stone would almost fall into this category, but I don’t know of others ATM.

Could they be doing that already because of the still open API of Reddit and that will soon change? I just feel like it’s easier for them currently and it will be tougher once the API changes are implemented.
You are right. You would need a team of skilled scrapers and network engineers though would know how to get around rate limiters with some kind of external load balancer or something along those lines.

I have ok experience with Linux as a DevOps engineer. I only have a Linux laptop for work though. Would need to get something else going for it.
Season 2 of the manhwa has been fantastic. It’s so long though. I doubt they are going to cover it all unless they do 3-4 cours.
But the animation quality of the teaser looks great. Super excited
