every religion and philosophical idea regarding spirituality is man made.
with that comes all mans motivations and ignorance.
personally, this puts both spirituality and religion on tenuous grounds if not outright fiction.
i feel we will experience the same thing after our death that we did before our birth; nothing.
the only way you could be sure is if you are an alt. otherwise, its pure conjecture.
personally, even people ive known who get yelled at all the time understand that is not a normal thing. i find op disingenuous, if not an outright troll.
asking questions you already know the answer to does not lend itself to your credibility or public perception of your intelligence
3·16 days agoi personally know dozens of people self hosting email. tens of thousands of businesses have been hosting their own email for decades. i dont think you can take self-hosting away from email by pointing out the billion users are 17% on google (or whatever).
im not disagreeing with you that the big guys have big market share, but email is vast and ubiquitously self hosted.
email can be run using hundreds of servers on dozens of platforms even from your own house and interact with the email network.
youre not doing anything like that with bluesky. even with the domain thing, there is only a single bluesky router that everyone connects to.
no one is self hosting a bluesky router

whether you block or ignore… no one else knows what youre doing, so youre not ‘influencing’ anyone else.
how is blocking someone helping influence other people? youre the only human the block affects. its no different than ignoring them.
blocking/not blocking doesnt ‘allow’ them anything cept maybe free rent in your brain… doesnt affect them at all.

do you have any real world skills? i know many people in professional careers that do not match their degrees, but they had to start at the literal bottom (cleaning,answering phones, etc) making minimum wage until they proved they were more competent than the people who generally take those jobs.
