8bitdo ultimate. Already lasted more than a couple of months, as opposed to the last two Xbox controllers I had. I just wanted hall effect joysticks and Xbox layout.

mxl@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Desk workers of Lemmy, what are your tips for appearing busy in the office even when you might not be?9·1 year agoI go from one place to another, greet people, talk, drink coffee, have a snack, go to the toilet, etc, etc. They are pushing working from the office more and more saying it’s better for connecting with colleagues, so I go to and do that.
I think they recently rolled it out recently https://proton.me/drive/file-sharing
Holy sh*t didn’t expect to find mwY here. Awesome band! You likely are a La Dispute enjoyer too, so for people reading this, the album Rooms of the House, beginning to end
Other answers got you covered, but please back up your personal data before doing anything big, even if you are feeling confident
mxl@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•To date, what do you think is the greatest invention or discovery and why?7·1 year agoPhotography! I’m not even into it, but when I look at an old picture it always amazes me we’re able to freeze moments in time.
I also never had an issue with Gnome… 🤷♂️
If only it looked bad but performed well, I might still take it. No matter how many times I try, it’s just not stable for me to daily drive.
mxl@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Anyone know of a good wiki/knowledge base software that is portable?2·1 year agoOof I gave up in this search. Closest thing I found was MkDocs and Docusaurus which are static site generators of markdown content. I wanted an editor too, but they don’t have one.
Regarding wiki.js, I liked it, but the way it manages folder hierarchies is messed up.
mxl@lemm.eeto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is something you wanted as a kid and bought now that you're an adult with disposable income?4·1 year agoAn original Saint Seiya action figure, more specifically Aquarius Camus.
mxl@lemm.eeto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Android offering privacy by profiling and sharing app ussage info?1·1 year agoYou’re right he’s still committing, however it’s easily verifiable he’s not the only one. Still I’ll give you that, since it seems Micay is quite active. I guess I am a “sheep that blindly trusts”, since I don’t have the skills to audit the code in this case. I will assume you are not such a sheep (otherwise why would you accuse someone else of being so?), so would you please enlighten me on the verifications you’ve done or the evidence you’ve found that makes you not trust the GOS project? On top of that. What do you trust for a mobile OS?
mxl@lemm.eeto Privacy@lemmy.ml•Android offering privacy by profiling and sharing app ussage info?102·1 year agoYou mean the one who stepped down like half a year ago? Also GOS is not the work of a single person, you know…
Probably unpopular opinion, but have you seen actual gameplays of GoT? I somehow got my expectations way too high regarding story and visuals, it seems, and then found it incredible meh. I ended up quitting it.
Canned tuna mixed with rice, and omelette with cheese
Ska-P just came back from Germany, where they were banned from playing a song against Israeli occupation in Palestina. Mad Caddies tour Europe almost every year and will be playing in Germany and Netherlands next month. Both more ska-punk, but you might find them worth it
I have the same and I use Nobara with a Gnome desktop. KDE is more similar to Windows but I hated how dual screens are managed
I use the web version of all O365 apps, even Teams, and I also have a Windows VM in case I need the desktop apps for whatever reason.
