My wife has a big family and her mother is an angel but crazy. The first 8 years we were together I found it really tough because they were always there. Then after doing some soul searching I came to understand that’s just the way it is. I am routinely in peace in total chaos.

I’m an Android user. It’s damn near impossible to get around Google. So many good features that they offer that I’ve been sucked it. Call me a sellout if you want. Tell me that I’m the product. I’ve got things to do and people to see so I had to shelve my paranoias. I even bought a syno 920+ to curtail their call but find myself still using them - and they use me.

Um. Yeah. Taking a break from it for a few days during the blackout. Checking out the fediverse and am loving lemmy, pixelfed, and mastodon. Just joined kbin today but am a bit confused about it because I haven’t found a mobile app that supports it. There are a ton of subreddits that I am missing incredibly, but you know it’ll be all right. I’m hoping lemmy grows a bit, but not too big. I just enjoy a string of random posts.

I always felt that part of the allure of Reddit was that it was semi-anonymous. Now that I see they’re taking the route of Facebook and the like I’m running for the door.

After watching many episodes of the Three Stooges, having a buddy light a jumping jack in my back right pocket. I was like 7 or 8. Needless to say 44 years later the scar remains. And yes it hurt like hell and the healing process (band aids sticking to the burn) is something I will remember forever.

I don’t know. The GUI is prettier. Notepad & File Explorer have tabs now. What got me is that a few years ago I had to edit a spreadsheet that had over 12,000 columns and at the time Libre Office couldn’t do it. So I bought a seat of 365 and now I’m here. I do miss Ubuntu though. The other thing is that my day job uses windows exclusively and I felt that since I was using ubuntu at home for 12+ years I needed to brush up on my windowsisms.

Infinity has been my go-to. Spending much less time on it though.
