That would only happen if we give power to our ai assistants to buy things on our behalf, and manage our budgets. They will decide among themselves who needs what and the money will flow to billionaires pockets without any human intervention. If humans go far enough, not even rich people would be rich, as trust funds, stock portfolios would operate under ai. If the ai achieves singularity with that level of control, we are all basically in spectator mode.
josefo@leminal.spaceto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If any of the languages you know is spoken in more than one region (ex: European vs Brazilian Portuguese), what version of the language do you speak?1·2 months agoIt’s more about the vocabulary and accent, not the level of education and correctness of the speaker. Usually neutral spanish is understood in all the spanish speaking countries of south america and spain, because, well, it’s neutral.
A good example of neutral spanish usage in real life is dubbing. Most of our dubbing is done in Mexico, but the dubbing itself has no mexican specific words, mannerisms, or accent. Al dubbing is done this way, no matter the country, so only one version of the dubbing works for basically everyone.
As a matter of fact, there have been some experiments to challenge this, and use a more localized accent and vocabulary instead, and most went very wrong. The first Incredibles movie was dubbed with a argentinean flavor, español rioplatense. It was hated in Argentina, massive disaster, we pretend it didn’t happen.
Also sometimes, when dubbing, we pick accents of different countries for different characters on purpose. Most of Grim Fandango was dubbed in Spain’s Spanish, and some characters had Mexican and Argentinean accents, and that was relevant for the plot (Argentinean characters are shady people almost everytime). Think of the choice some media does to make someone speak English from England to make it sound more classy or something like that, basically almost every Spanish accent has its own stereotype.
It’s weird, because neutral spanish is the language nobody speaks, because local accents and lingo, but everybody likes to hear because it’s the most understandable.
I say, go for the most neutral vocabulary you can. You will have an accent anyway because it’s not your native language.

Neutral Spanish is a thing, it’s usually well received in most latin american countries. If you learn something too region specific, usually doesn’t.

What are some daily patterns that would begin to emerge?232·4 months agoMoney and working for it stop making sense immediately, so nobody works at anywhere, no services are going to be in place unless the workers are somewhat bored.
Without service workers, how fast do you think you would go? You will always be in the same city? Can you learn to fly a plane to eventually reach another place? Can you learn to fly a Boeing by yourself to travel farther? No fucking security regulations anywhere baby.
You can go a full day without eating or drinking much water, so maybe some days you eat, some you don’t. After few loops, crime rises, and it can’t be really punished, but people will remember criminals and what they did, so the next day a bunch of the affected can kill the criminal for the day, until they no longer want to do it.
How Groundhog Day rules would apply here? Everyone wakes at the same time? What happens if some go to sleep earlier and some try to be wake as many days as possible, until their inevitable death?
Most interesting thing is that no real danger would exist, and no real consequences, as the static world resets, but the collective memory of people would survive.
Thank you stranger, this was enlightening

answer, the question, what is the actual labor value provided to the chain by those laborers? laborers create actual value, the ruling class exploit and extract value created by others. not for society as you say, but actual you know, value, wealth. they are contributing to production or not? it’s easy to answer for real labor, mental gymnastics else. They are or are not fucking parasites of the laborers? Answer the question.
Ok genius, what’s the"labor" provided by a CEO? How do horizontal organizations like cooperative manage without that piece of labor? Do you know what a traitor of it class is? It’s the reason police don’t get the working class title either, they are watchdogs that provide no labor value, just means of control for the ruling class. Fuck capitalism, CEOs, the police, and everyone collaborating with oppression.
CEOs are not working class dumbass hahahaha
What if we start killing board members instead of just CEOs, you know, the puppet masters along with the puppet.
While we are at it, also any billionaires to
Non Americans are not people, so they don’t count towards the casuality tally.
Germany attacked Poland first, but everyone lost their shit when they invaded France, so yeah, it’s when euro people fight.
Disclaimer: I don’t recall this correctly, I might be wrong, as I remember they started the thing with France early on grabbing a piece of land that they lost after WW1
