• Shows that I’d use an rss feed to keep track of aren’t on their own websites anymore, just youtube (and sometimes nebula or floatplane, or whatever). You didn’t ask for youtube channels, so they got cut from the list.
• Some of the comics just don’t exist anymore, their sites gone. LoZ Demon Road and Ask Mr Dragmire are notable examples, gone likely for obvious reasons.
• Several NSFW comics that I followed through e621, because google reader could turn their link format into an rss feed, i’m excluding because not actually rss.

If i have to suffer because I’m a dumb dumb, that’s on me. I’m tired of suffering because other people are stupid.

The problem isn’t the updates. The problem is microsoft downloading things and restarting my pc without my consent (annoying me until I say “fine, do it” is not consent). No one but me decides when my machine installs updates and reboots. I know I’m putting myself at risk if I let my system fall behind on updates. That’s on me, it’s my computer, it is my right to make that decision.

I’m begining to see the use of ai similarly to my alcohol problems. It’s way too easy to rely on it too much. I never was a good author, but I can tell that the quality of what I can write on my own has degraded since I started using ai.

If you’re looking for a label, I recommend not. Soon after you pick one, the definition for that label will change and no longer fit your ideology. This change might be due to your own understanding improving, or due to societal shifts, or both.

Write out your ideology in long form. People tend to support good ideas when not attached to politically charged labels.

I used to pay for it, for the same reasons. They stopped taking my money, i don’t know why, and I noticed zero change in the quality of the service.

I’ve got the same complaint here. Firefox has a setting, but it’s kinda crap and is only in Firefox. I haven’t been able to find a solution that works system wide and isn’t horrible jank. I’m on mint with cinnamon, btw.

I made the jump to Linux a few months ago, and while there are certain conveniences that I miss, everything I actually need works fine. As for gaming, I don’t play anything with kernel level anticheat, so it doesn’t matter to me that those don’t work on linux.

Couple of months ago there was a blue alert that went out across most of Texas, hours after an incident, with the most generic possible description of a dude, and it was like 4am. Useless, illegal, and disabled the alarms on my phone so I was late for work.

i use obsidian notes and keep the files in a Dropbox folder that automatically syncs between my several devices. I use github pages to make it publicly visible. Since it’s on github, I’ve got all the benefits of version control and edit tracking. Also, other authors can use whatever markdown editor they want so long as they don’t break link formatting.

people keep making this comparison and I just don’t see it. The art style, sure, but the mechanics of the games are completely different from each other.
