You COULD probably do it like this if you want to gain experience with ansible. Otherwise it’s total overkill. Just write down a list of must-have apps that you currently use and install them manually in the new system. It’s always a nice opportunity to start fresh and clean.

Doubt! The Gentoo Handbook is one of the best, if not the best documentation out there. It’s especially useful for beginners because it doesn’t just offer code snippets to copy/paste, but explains background knowledge and how things work.
I did not say or try to imply that it’s good. I said sadly it works. With emphasis on SADLY.
The thing is: If everyone hated it, it would not work. But sadly it DOES work.

DecSync CC is an app that stores calendar / tasks / contacts as files on the phone. You can sync them to other devices. I use it to sync our family calendar and contacts in our household. No clouds involved.
Apart from what’s already been mentioned, I’m eager to test Spacedrive
