Parts of the serialized story were fleshed out and became Dune.
I mean, none of that is true, and Herbert stated he had parts of Messiah and Children written before Dune was even finished.
In the forward to Heretics of Dune: “Parts of Dune Messiah and Children of Dune were written before Dune was completed. They fleshed out more in the writing, but the essential story remained intact.”

Basically an artificial implant that would grow into an actual rooted tooth.

cowfodder@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do i need to know about HMDI cables beore buying?142·1 year agoJust because it’s a digital signal doesn’t mean “it works or it doesn’t”. If the cable you chose can’t handle the bandwidth necessary for the audio and video signals you’re trying to push through your equipment will automatically start degrading the signal slightly to maintain sync and connection. This will start with white clipping and black crush and will get worse from there.
Truly shitty cables will often have DHCP and AV sync problems.
Fondant potatoes. I don’t ever bother doing the perfect cylinder cut, but they’re amazing.

Down in a Hole - Alice in Chains, from the unplugged album. Just such a raw song.
Try adding a bit of butterscotch schnapps.
