I’ve just switched over to watching games being played on Twitch. I can enjoy all the latest games, at max settings (minus the 1080p twitch encoding), and divert my attention to other things simultaneously.

Aren’t all new releases of franchises the “fastest selling”, mainly because the number of people playing video games increases YoY? I would be more interested in a percentage number – maybe copies sold over the total number of games sold in 2023 and compare those to previous years.

Mods are almost a must with Stardew Valley. There are so many QoL improvements to be had, world expansions and automations to remove some of the tedious busy work.
