That’s awesome! Congratulations!
Windows 10 was actually fine for me, it was the jump to 11 that broke it. Audio jack headphones, then Bluetooth, and still nothing.
Yeah when it updated to Windows 11 I also started noticing the news/ads on boot and in the start menu which were obnoxious. Another benefit to switch I suppose. And thank you! If I run into issues I’m sure I’ll be taking you up on that offer.
I built my desktop specifically to be pretty robust and future proof it for a few years: RYZEN 7 7800X3D, RTX 4070TI super, B650 Gaming Motherboard, and 64GB DDR5 RAM. It wasn’t having any issues playing games on windows until windows just started messing with the system unfortunately.
I’ll be honest, they’ve shot themselves in the foot. I’m a normal user, so as long as my things that I’ve setup just work there’s no reason for me to change. As soon as they screwed it up I’m ready to jump to the next thing to make sure it just works. I forgot to mention that I did not try reinstalling Windows 10 because the auto rollback feature said it was no longer available for me (I think it expires after a week or so, and I was troubleshooting after work for longer than that time to try to get it functional again.) so multiple chances for Microsoft to keep me in their services but just couldn’t make it easy.
It’s pretty good! The music choices are great, and overall it’s just a fun watch.
It’s from the series “The Umbrella Academy”.
You know that’s right.
Ah gotcha, maybe that was it. I still find the dark souls style combat much smoother and approachable for a beginner to not worry too much about parrying or other mechanics. I made my first playthrough of dark souls without ever learning most of them, just blocking, dodging, and attacking like duels. It felt less dependent on twitchy reflexes and more just repetition and reading the enemies movements. All great games, maybe it just comes down to preference!
I think it’s actually less forgiving on timing, just in terms of parry window number of frames. If I remember correctly, your timing just has to come towards the end of the attack animation (as opposed to FromSoft parrying which is generally closer to the beginning) I think, or I may have those reversed. On top of that though, something like dark souls 1 is much slower paced and the combat feels more give-and-take where Lies of P to me felt like parry, dodge roll for an opening and punish.
I found Lies of P much more challenging than any of the FromSoft games I’ve played. I loved it, don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for an easier introduction to the gameplay.
American raised in the Southeast checking in: put tea bags in kettle of water on stove, heat until the kettle whistles, pour into 1 gallon container with sugar, mix while still hot, and finally place in refrigerator for storage.
When its 78 in February and won’t cool down until November, having a nice, cold glass of sweet tea is lovely.
No, not at all! Just wanted to clarify if I was misunderstanding.
