I’ve been getting 500s all day so it’s most likely the server not being able to keep up with the Reddit migration

I’m actually thinking about doing this exact thing with my own rpi b rev2 from 2012. I’m not sure it’ll even run a kbin/Lemmy instance though

This is why minimalism sucks. Takes away all of the fun

Not sure what specs are needed for a kbin instance, but pretty much anything running an x64 processor and a reasonable amount of ram should work, even if it’s really old.

You should look into Niagara Launcher. It’s not a very traditional one, but when you learn it it becomes lightning fast and super customizable
