He’s not even the main character, he’s a sidekick and not even the most prominent of the sidekicks really. (Despite the fact that he appears first in many character lists for the movie, the protagonist is Searcher)
lol 400%?
Try 27,200%. That is the actual ratio on publicly traded companies.
Trying to claim the term “Web3” is a futile battle. It is already widely understood to mean crypto and blockchain. If I see a job posting that says the company is built on Web3, I know immediately that the job is built on scams and grifts without having to ask further questions. Web3 as a term is ruined already.
For this to work it must be a different term than Web3. Maybe “Web 3.0” is different enough?
Ironically, the text on this meme is so small that I had to zoom in on it on my vertical phone to be able to read it

That feels like self-selection bias to me. The most vocal people with opinions leaning the other direction, have already left the platform.
What server?

Ooh I would play this but with added rule that made-up words are allowed as long as they sound dirty
That’s overestimating the number of users who are planning to jump ship for sure. We are the noisy ones because we have a lot to complain about right now. It probably more like 1-5% that are planning to leave Reddit indefinitely.
The key word though is “planning”. Because that 1-5% contains an outsized portion of the biggest moderators, content creators, and active users. After we jump ship, Reddit is going to have more spam and abuse (and learn the value of the free moderation they’ve been getting up til now), and less valuable content once you get through that. So Reddit might end up losing half its users as it becomes more useless, even if it’s only a small fraction that’s planning to leave right now.

StarManta@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•for the Reddit refugees, do you also feel a bit heartbroken?8·2 years agoIt’s muscle memory. I’ve been opening Apollo several times an hour for like a decade. The only way I’ve been able to stop being in Reddit constantly has been to put Lemmy into Apollo’s former place in my phone’s Home Screen.
Some people don’t like when it’s too quiet. For some it’s uneasy, for some it makes it too hard to stop your mind from wandering. That can make it hard to sleep or hard to focus on a task. White noise is noise that makes it not quiet, but isn’t so loud or too full of meaning to be a distraction on its own. Most people use something like ocean waves, running water, rain, wind noises, the warp core noise from Star Trek, etc.
