I meant to reply to you yesterday, but I forgot. Your link was amazing, thanks for posting.
I had to stop reading after a while though because I was getting too fucking depressed that so many morons keep willingly giving this chuckle-fuck their money even though all of the available evidence points to him being a pedantic child and pathological liar who’s companies exist in spite of him rather than because of him.
That’s quite a good list you’ve got going there already. Did you do that from memory?

They are going to be in for a fucked up conversation that will make them second guess their life choices.

I’m not sure if you’re interested in the atheist debate sphere at all, if you are then you should give him a listen. He’s a Catholic apologist and presuppositionalist who debates on Discord.
Be warned though, he is fucking awful. If you listen to him debate for more than 30 minutes in one sitting you’re liable to suffer psychological trauma. He’s that bad, not kidding.

Riccosuave@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What was the best thing that happened to you this year?6·1 year agoFirst, let me say thank you for this kind comment. Oddly enough I also happen to be 33, so it really means a lot to me to get that encouragement from someone else who was literally in the same boat, and made it out the other side successfully. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you study when you went back?
Riccosuave@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What was the best thing that happened to you this year?11·1 year agoMoving sucks so much, and can be extremely emotionally and physically disruptive for a lot of people. So, massive congratulations 🎊
Riccosuave@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What was the best thing that happened to you this year?31·1 year agoI made the decision to go back to school. There were various life reasons why I was unable to make that decision in my 20’s, but I am happy to have the opportunity to learn again with a renewed sense of drive and direction.

Riccosuave@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is an item below 100 bucks that everyone should own?20·2 years agoI already had one, but thank you for subtly reinforcing my irrational fear given I have never known a single person in my area who has ever gotten bed bugs. One can never be too safe…
My only regret is that I have but one upvote to give.
The perfect platform is one that has great UI, broad functionality, and is just complicated enough to keep out the low hanging fruit. I feel like keeping the barrier of entry just high enough that we don’t end up with as many debate perverts and shit talkers as Reddit is preferable.
Conventional brick and mortar retail is extremely expensive to maintain. It has less to do with Amazon specifically, and more to do with the rise of online retail & direct to consumer business models more generally. Don’t get me wrong, Amazon was a huge pioneer in that area, but it would have happened one way or another.
