Not to comment one way or the other, but when I first saw this hypothesis, I thought the people rejecting it off “it would make life too hard” might’ve actually been stupid. As if human history isn’t fucking STUFFED with people doing much worse to themselves for much less?

I’ve always thought of myself as a gym leader. I’ve been doing martial arts since I was 10, I love Fighting types and Blaziken has been my absolute favorite Starter since forever.

I also really like the idea that gym leaders have a bunch of Pokemon ready to take challengers and different levels. Taking on some kid just starting out with Riolu while my Machamp and Bewear wrestle in the background sounds awesome.

Ethanol is trashing engines and producing more waste via dead engines, all while providing jack shit for actual cleaner energy. The corn lobby landed ethanol requirements and it’s never going away now that they’ve found that revenue stream.
