NoClip is a video game documentary patreon/youtube channel. They decided to make their own game to better understand the industry.

It’s not like they’re going to say, “oh, don’t bring THAT recovery vehicle, it can go TOO deep.”

Up until a few days ago, I thought Reddit Gold was just the awards. I had no idea it was an ad-free subscription. Reddit could have easily converted me into a paying customer by offering a personal api key that i plug into my favorite 3rd party app. The $5 more than covers my api calls, plus opportunity cost from not seeing ads, plus it would have kept me feeding quality content into their machine. What a series of ridiculous missteps.

Maybe we’re not? For me, my subscriptions are all lumped together in a single feed. If i want to look at posts from a single specific sub, i have to either have that sub favorited, or scroll until I find a post in the combined feed from that sub, then tap into it.

For the life of me, I can’t find a “search” option anywhere.
