Like everyone else commenting here so far, I loved this series.
5·3 months agoThe closest to that - a cartoonified GTA style game is “Lego City Undercover.” It covers most of the bases for a kid-friendly open world gta style game.
My kid is seven. I let him play GTA5. He just likes to steal the cars and drive them around. I don’t let him do the missions or shoot anybody. He loves it.

Yeah. All of Becky Chambers’ books are like that. Very warm, sweet sci-fi. No cruel people, no negativity. Just comfort and compassion. Her “Wayfarer” series (starting with “The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet”) is also worth reading.

There were no “good guys” in that fight - as both guys are shitty people, but of course the worse guy won. That’s how this year is going. See also: the US elections.
All of the above. But start with cleaning up this planet. Build better / more sustainable and more diverse communities and energy production. Build arcologies in the arctic, deserts, oceans. Those are good “practice” for building the same off planet.
Sometimes a “3rd party” candidate will drop out of the race and endorse one oh the “big two” (see RFK Jr. for example) or they will remain in the race and “secretly” act as a “spoiler” to siphon votes away from their ally’s opponent.
Fun fact: the color orange was named after the fruit, and not the fruit named for the color.
I’ve been told more than once that I look like “that creepy Scarecrow guy from Batman Begins.” So I guess Cillian Murphy. I didn’t like looking creepy tho.
