Oh! I use something somewhat similar for when I do need to browse Reddit on mobile. It’s called Sink It for Reddit . It doesn’t affect old Reddit so much but makes the mobile site bearable
I just refuse to use the official mobile app. When they killed Apollo, I left. I’ll use old Reddit sometimes when on my desktop but all my mobile browsing is on Lemmy with Voyager
I’m not as into rap lately but I used to really like Noname
If you enjoy meth and walking around Walmart in your cookiemonster pajamas then yes
Admittedly I don’t live there anymore but I feel a sense of responsibility to bring it to the fediverse
Oh yeah
Oh yeah that makes sense. I knew there were federation bots but I didn’t put two and two together. Thanks for the explanation!
Like PinkGuy/Joji from the meme or the actual song?
It’s not really what you’re looking for but I noticed recently that NodeBB (forum software) supports the fediverse. I actually found my lemmy user on it which I thought was super neat
MXRoute is what I use as my domain’s email server and it’s good enough. The included browser email clients (it offers multiple) are sort of trash but if you just use your own it’s perfect. It’s pretty cheap too
Yeah Walmart does the same thing. It’s usually because the cops don’t really care about individual thefts but if they show you repeatedly stealing they can bring a real case against you
A JS-free version would have to have the work offloaded to a server via an API request. I’m not sure if that’d be any better. At least with JS, you can theoretically read the code running on your machine
It’s the only way I can quit anything. Recently quit vaping (nicotine) that way
I guess the US feels threatened by Greenland’s prospering chip industry
Wait, can you go into more detail? I don’t feel like reading the entire thing as it’s not really my area of expertise

Ah yeah, the classic PIP’d manoever. I worked with a few good guys who got fired without cause PIP’d and let go even though their performance was fine
I’d be broken for a little while but tbh I think I’d be better off in the long run
Yeah, good call. I guess I’ll contact lemmy.world/ml’s admins since they’re the largest instances
