  • I wish I new how to easily install an AUR package manager when I first started.

Step 1: go to the AUR and choose a package manager. I recommend paru, but there are plenty of others.

Step 2: install git using pacman

    sudo pacman -S git

Step 3: copy the git clone URL for paru and pull it

    git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/paru.git

Step 4: CD into the new directory

    cd paru

    Step 5: install paru

    makepkg -si

Now when you find a package from the AUR you want, you can easily install it.

    paru -S [package]

Also, when you update your system, you only need to run paru -Syu. You don’t need to run both pacman -Syu and paru -Syu.

Internet says an average adult breaths 12 - 20 time per minute. Assuming 20 breaths per minute, that comes out to $1,440 dollars per day($0.05 × 20 breaths × 60 minutes × 24 hours)

If you’re dedicated, you can walk 20,000 steps in a day. It’s not easy, but it’s achievable. This would yield $5,000 per day.

For perspective, if you were smart and chose the $5,000 per day, it would take you 547 years to earn your first billion and 131,416 years to have as much money as Jeff Bezos.

Edit: I lost some decimals. I fixed the calculations

  • I think Pokémon peaked at Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby, but to be fair, I was the prime target audience. I prefer this generation because it was 3D while still having the 2D gameplay feel. The mega evolution was still novel and consistent with the previous games. The new 3D games are so convoluted with the different Pokémon forms and moves. My preference is late 2D games (Black 2) and early 3D games (Alpha Sapphire).
