In the end they’re paying Twitter to display their ads, and if Twitter allows questionable content to be in their platform, the companies are indirectly supporting it.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How many of you are using ChatGpt to help you with your work, and not telling your boss/co-workers?3·2 years agoMore often than not you need to be very specific and have some knowledge on the stuff you ask it.
However, you can guide it to give you exactly what you want. I feel like knowing how to interact with GPT it’s becoming similar as being good at googling stuff.

EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's not a sign someone's an asshole, but is often misinterpreted as one?11·2 years agoI have a friend that’s always late, like literally always. I tried to put myself in his shoes because he’s got 2 small kids and that should be extremely exhausting, but I don’t think he even tries anymore.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's not a sign someone's an asshole, but is often misinterpreted as one?407·2 years agoTo be fair though, sincerity without empathy is just assholeness. There are way to many people justifying their asshole behaviors with “being sincere”.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's not a sign someone's an asshole, but is often misinterpreted as one?English16·2 years agoEver since getting into arguments with strangers online stopped being fun for me, I try to be extremely polite to people when I’m asking a probably confrontational question.
On the internet, a good amount of time people asking questions in comments sections are often just trying to show others how much they know about something in the most passive aggressively way possible, so it better to always be extra clear that you’re trying to engage on a healthy discussion.
Mexico:
Quesadillas don’t have cheese by default in Mexico City, and everyone else outside of it make fun of them because of it.
Yet every imaginable remix of the song is all over social media.
You can also seamlessly download videos on all of your devices, on top of their own music streaming service.
I’m sure you can get all of it for free somehow, but there’s a point in life that convenience is more important. Also, the family plan is dirt cheap if you consider all you get.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your favorite third-party app that integrates beautifully design-wise with your native iOS/Android apps?3·2 years agoIvory from the Tweetbot devs, although is not purely Apple-y, it feels like it belongs in the platform while also adding something of their own.
That’s what you get from being the most popular instance I guess.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Memes@lemmy.ml•Be wary my friends, for we are on the path to gloryEnglish2·2 years agoI don’t remember if the bot would work at all, but I was referring to all the people that used one of those tools to delete their comments or mass edit them to something like “this message has been edited because fuck u/spez” or something like that.
EliasChao@lemmy.oneto Memes@lemmy.ml•Be wary my friends, for we are on the path to gloryEnglish11·2 years agoHadn’t thought about how many people will come back to see their RemindMes on Reddit only to find deleted comments from people that left Reddit nuking their comments.
Are you or your parents from a Latin American country? Trying to find a pattern here.
It does a bit here though, in my country dentists recommend 3 times a day, not 2.
I’m shocked, because in my country every dentist would recommend you to do it 3 times a day, so hearing there are people out there only doing it as much as twice a day, with quite some people doing just once a day, it’s very shocking for me.
I gotta admit though that more often than not I don’t do it the afternoon because I either forget, or don’t have time to do it. But I do it religiously every morning after breakfast, and every night before I sleep.
You’re saying there’s a 3rd party Lemmy client named “Not Poop 3D” being developed as we speak?
