Bloodwoodsrisen@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is a fun gadget you have purchased that has added value to your life?English2·2 years agoI have two items I bought for my upcoming Aviation Maintenance training this December. A usb rechargeable flashlight and a 17-in-1 multitool, both which will come in mighty handy these next few years
Bloodwoodsrisen@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Gaming@lemmy.ml•I Tore Apart My PS5 Controller And You Can Too! - AftermathEnglish3·2 years agoI’m going to be going to a trade school for a few years to learn everything I need! AIM (Aviation Institute of Maintenance) has locations all over the US
Bloodwoodsrisen@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Gaming@lemmy.ml•I Tore Apart My PS5 Controller And You Can Too! - AftermathEnglish3·2 years agoThat title is the exact reason i’m going into aviation maintenance in December. Being able to take things apart and put them back together again plus fiddling around with them to see how they work? Perfect
I still have a bunch of the instructions, could to through and make the sets and sell those while the misc pieces get donated to like, Savers or something
I can dance perfectly fine, specifically Irish Dance, but having wheels under my body unable to control them makes me get that dread feeling in my stomach
I bought some because I’ve wanted them ever since I was little but there’s just one issue
I can’t even Rollerskate
I have several sets in there, but I’d rather give them to a kid who’s never had Legos than sell them to a collector
I’ve got a huge clear box of Legos that I haven’t touched in years. I could probably donate all of it though…
I’m able to crack every joint in my hand, my wrists, my neck, my back, my ankles, and sometimes my toes
My elbows, hips, and knees occasionally crack but usually they just make a soft click noise
Bloodwoodsrisen@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What movie do you see too young, that still scares you today?English5·2 years agoNow that I think about it, they read us Where The Red Fern Grows in 5th grade when I was 11, and the next year they had us watch it
We were barely teenagers and they hit us with that
Bloodwoodsrisen@lemmy.blahaj.zoneto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What movie do you see too young, that still scares you today?English13·2 years agoCoraline. I can watch breakdowns of that movie on YouTube, and even watched a several hour long breakdown of the Beldam and the entire story, but I still can’t watch the movie itself

My brother just puts his face under the faucet
I applaud your spite motivation, Sir
I’m gonna narrow this down to two categories because many foods could land on this list
Pizza: either Chicken Bacon Ranch or parmesan sauce pizza (also called Asiago). Recently discovered the latter and I honestly can’t go back to red sauce
Chinese Food: Crispy Honey Chicken from my local Golden Rice restaurant. They’re wildly old-school, drive thru with paper menus, a menu taped on the window and no modern drive thru. They used to be a dine-in location but last I knew they closed that part of the restaurant. They own my soul with their Crab Rangoons and once I tried the CHC, i never looked back
