That’s Blizzard in a nutshell. It’s insane how low they have fallen. Can’t even find enough new employees because the salary is so bad and the working conditions are toxic.

i’m sure it has been unhelpful to see their CEO get quoted as saying “actually the problems were caused by Big Labor and there was no systemic harassment” even though it’s glaringly obvious that yes there was and arguably there still is. just insane that someone didn’t pull Bobby Kotick to the side and tell him to shut the fuck up (or at least to not speak candidly about how he feels) given how obviously incongruent his understanding of what happened is with reality

Yeah. Bobby Kotick is such a disgusting person and I hope he will “let go” when Microsoft buys Activision.

While I’m one of the very last people to want to defend Blizzard of all companies… Sigh, guys, let’s remember that this is one side of the story. There might have been other reasons for the firing we’re not privy to.

Fucking had to be Blizzard, now I need a bath.

Yea, I’m wondering if there is more to the story. Blizzard has fallen extremely low, but that kind of action for dialogue of a Goblin character, who are meant to talk like that, seems even too harsh for them. On the other hand it specifically mentions offices and yachts, something I am not aware are existing in lore in warcraft, so it does go a bit past the usual Goblin talk…

Blizzard really needs to get their act together in any case. The fact that we’re hardly giving them the benefit of the doubt really says it all and shows to what kind of place Blizzard has fallen to.
