Yes, it’s called Labour Day, they created it because communists recruited people on May Day. I work with Usonians and I had to work on May Day because these bastards have this piece of shit non existent holiday.
Something not covered in the video is that the burgerland Labor Day is celebrated in September. The date was deliberately picked because it would be “less inflammatory”.
Catholics have one too, St. Joseph the Worker Day. First celebrated in late middle ages, usually in march or april since it depended on date of easter, but moved to 1st may by none other than the pope Pius XII and promoted hard by John Paul II, unsurprisingly both best known for anticommunism.
