¡Patria o muerte!
Here is the archive, the text seems to point that keeping workers at the bare minimum of survival is what keeps them in check and allows for cheap labour.
A good and customizable app drawer for Android, there are some but most are “minimalist”, meaning it’s all text, and the other ones don’t have the features I want, like being able to organize apps however I want to, not on alphabetical order.
An “file explorer” for images that works with a tagging system.
Something like FilmAffinity or Letterboxd, but federated.
Of course I do, most of the people with whom I interact AFK are, sadly, either racist, or classists, or homophobes or misogynous, but I think there’s a difference in a place where one cannot control its environment and where one is forced to coexist with those people, to one where you can grow a community where you can choose what kind of people will it host. Most people are unconsciously either one of those things, I’ve seen a lot of classist people on the Lemmy flagship instance that hold those views thanks to the veil of liberalism. It’s your instance and you can moderate it however you want, but I think a good starting point to have a well mannered community would be to impose a certain limit. Is using slurs something that really is going to generate an environment where two political distant people can hold a conversation? This is an example, it could be anything.
Regarding the last part you said, and since you are federating with out Marxist Leninist instance, I’d like to share with you a little bit of Marxist theory. Where you say “international banks are destroying nations and holding them hostage in financial ruin”, I’d argue you are right about that, but that you are missing the forest for the tree. We have gotten to the conclusion, thanks to multiple advances in philosophy, economy, history, etc, that the classes in a society are determined by their relations to the means of production, this was true for masters and slaves, feudal lords and serfs, capitalists and wage workers. Hitler’s idea of the bankers as an organized class composed specifically of Jews, holds no real solid ground, and it is just one of a myriad of ways in which the capitalist class can manifest itself. It happens in the tech industry, it happens with oil, it happens with food companies, and so on; they form oligopolies. There’s a text by Engels titled The Principles of Communism, which is a very short read, and through points 1 to 10 (maybe it’ll take you 15 minutes to read), he goes about what defined the multiple classes throughout history when it comes to their relation with the means of production which maybe can help you to understand what I’m trying to say a bit better.
Anyway, I hope you can build a community that allows to respect others.
How many users do you think this machine can handle? I think I will not be running the Matrix instance and focus on the Lemmy one which would be public but I don’t expect it to have more than 5000 users for at least 5 years, and the private tracker would probably have something of about 500 users.
Regarding the power consumption do you think having a good power supply could improve this? At this moment I can’t buy a Pi, so I will have to stick with this.
I thought of using an if, but I’m reading a book called “Python Crash Course” and he hasn’t gone over if statements yet, so I thought there has to be a way to express it only using for statements. I have some more knowledge than what was already presented to me in the book from college, but I’m trying to follow the book’s reasoning so far.

I will not even go into your claims of China being a first world country because…
Look, it is simple, China is not doing something short sighted, without industrialization there is no nation that can get green energy infrastructure, if the exploiters who raped third world exploited nations do not pay reparations, there is no other way to do this better. This is all the Empires’s fault.
Aboriginal Formosan people of the island were colonized first by feudal lords and this was perpetuated by the ROC, did you know that, right? It wasn’t a Han majority State.
The part that wants independence is not the one who helds office or majority of congress and that opinion is not held my the majority of its people. The official stance by the Republic of China is that the mainland and the island are one and the same and that they should be reunited. It is a political difference, the ROC are liberals who want a bourgeois dictatorship, the PRC are communists who want a proletarian dictatorship.
Still, this is not an issue with China’s political affairs, WE in the third world welcome with open hearts the Belt and Road innitiative. In Latin America alone this will bring an enourmous help in freeing ourselves from the claws of Usonian and European imperialism, which you seem to want to perpetuate. We welcome them, it is none of your business what we do with them. You already had your shot at industrialization thanks to the blood of our siblings, if you care about the environment free the colonies you enslave (Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, French Guiana, and the countless others) and repair the pillaging you have done in these lands to help us transition to a green energy infrastructure. If not, shut the fuck up because you are only interested in what benefits your Empire and your masters. You see bad only in otherness, as you liberals like to say, whattaboutism. It is always “What about China?”, “What about X and Y?” but never “What about ourselves?”.
They probably mean the whole PrivacyTools/PrivacyGuides scandal with the previous former member and all of that. I mean, from what I remember being the story on your side it was the dude who still runs PrivacyTools fault but yeah. Still, nice you made the move, welcome to Lemmy.
