I’m a cis male and I believe in the importance of feminism, but I hesitate to call myself a feminist because it seems like there is a presumption of understanding women’s experiences as if I was part of the Me Too movement. In some binary sense given how hateful and shitty men can be I’m absolutely a feminist, but I wouldn’t declare myself to be one. What is your standpoint?

    Sorry, I must have been misled by the way you parrots mens’ rights talking points such claiming feminists believe

    that men are all bad because a woman experienced just a couple of bad apples.

    and that

    women should have advantageous edges over men

    But I can see from your measured and articulate response that you are definitely not one of those men who overreact and might be considered a bad apple.
