    Gogs is nice but it was forked in 2016 and its fork (Gitea) has had a lot more development since then.

    Just be aware that Gogs was forked into Gitea after development for Gogs stopped for a while some time ago. And after Gitea is now trying to become sustainable, it was forked into Forgejo.
