Beat Saber. it was the Christmas time 2020, so during the pandemich, and I was living alone and had a lot of free time. Got myself a PSVR set. I maybe bough a game full price just once before. And Beat Saber cost me like 40 dollars. But it was so worth it. Played all of it, and even bought some DLC. An amazing game.

Sad that there isn’t a physical version

Waking Mars! An incredible short sci fi game with a nice story
I am happily gaming with my refurbished PS4 I got for about 130 usd 2 years ago. I find the graphics still pretty decent and the gaming experience is top notch.

verycoolusername@lemm.eeto Gaming@beehaw.org•What's the age cut off for socially acceptable gamingEnglish3·2 年前I don’t think there is a cutoff age, but I have noticed that non-gamers see gaming more like watching TV, i. e. a passive, somewhat trivial form of entertainment. The reason is because people tend to first think of Tetris and not Disco Elysium or Persona, or VR games. They just don’t know that it is an intellectually actibe and stimulating hobby. But I cannot fault them for that. Imagine telling someone your hobby is watching TV. I did tell my SO that I like gaming, but I also like other things that they enjoy too. If she ever asks me about it though, I am happy to talk about it or show something to her.
Nintendo knocking it out of the park. It is a pity that their best games are coming at the perceived end of the generation.
This is just terrible. I love Deus Ex and was hoping to see a new game in the next 5 years.
