1 year agoQualcomm modem which come with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 SoC definitely support VoLTE. Sony is not allowed to change it. Could only disable VoLTE in Android, but there is no reason to do it.

VoLTE very likely. Do you know if the carrier uses whitelist? Might have a way to check if the IMEI is allowed from carrier.
You might need a custom one as well. Modify the algorithm.
Good to demonstrate the divide and conquer approach.
