We had a phrase in graduate school for group projects… “good enough, move on”. Or GEMO. When we were getting too wrapped up in the details someone would say “should we just GEMO?” And there’d invariably be a sigh of relief as everyone agreed yes, it’s good enough, let’s move on.

Do you know what? I did keep up my resolution this year. But it may have just been flakey timing for positive life changes. My little one was more image 3 supplements, got them by my desk and work and stayed on top of it. And the second was more movement. Which started as gym, then was long walks, then yoga, back to gym. It’s been good. I don’t think I have a ton for 2025. I hope I just keep it up.

Why not put a title on it? If you really like the person, enjoy the partnership, it’s been a while, you want to be exclusive, you want to introduce them around? Whats the harm of a title if you’re both excited about what it’s becoming?

Medically assisted suicide is pretty widely accepted in Canada, in my experience. Pro non medically assisted suicide or young suicide is different, maybe.
