The fucking sound hateful tho.
Broken wrist ain’t that bad as long as bone still in.
If he wanna watch the bowl, then he wanna watch the bowl.
Don’t hate. His wrist, his life.
Personally, because I’ve spent long enough reading it and I want to just finish it if I’m like two thirds of the way through.
In reality, I spend a week thinking “I need to finish that” and then forget about it completely.

It’s a talking point that’s only upheld on political whim, which defeats the entire purpose of it.
li10@lemmy.mlto Privacy@lemmy.ml•UK Gvmt Say Mask Wearing At Protests Will Soon Be Illegal153·1 year agoI see no hope for this country. Things are just getting worse and worse every year, how long can this keep going?
It’s pretty bad now, but I seriously worry what things will be like in 20 or so years.
Hmm, we’ll have to agree to disagree there. They can 100% decrease the size of the processing bits and reduce weight.
I just think it’s very shortsighted to look at such an early version of the product and say “it won’t change much”. Especially when however many years ago you could have said that what we’ve got right now isn’t possible.
I mean, you can just take it off?
Also, regarding the adoption of the headset, I think it’s absolutely crazy to say that it probably won’t get less bulky. Tech is constantly getting smaller and that will be the number one priority with the headset.
If they can make the price and comfort level right, then I do think it becomes a mainstream product. Not saying people wear it 24/7, but that most households would have one, and it would become somewhat important for WFH and remote meetings.
I’m not a fanboy for Apple, but personally I just think it is the tech of the (relatively) near future.
Off topic, but anything ever happen with that LTT drama?
I used to follow them early on, but seems like a toxic, corporate shit show these days.
Kinda sad watching their videos now, the magic’s just gone imo and seems like they’ve tried to template what it was like.
I guess that’s what people want though, their fan base are basically tech-swifties.
It was doomed from the start, and yet they went on anyway.
tbh I think they’d put a bad case forward even if they were given a favorable interview, considering they gave Fox more ammunition than they could ever ask for.
The misgendering and harassment is wrong, but I honestly think it’s right for the anti work community to call out how awful that interview was and distance themselves from it as much as possible. imo it did actively harm the public perception of the movement.
That was a colossal fuck up of an interview though, made the entire anti work community look like a load of stupid freeloaders.
Absolutely no excuse for the misgendering or any harassment, but I still wouldn’t undersell how bad that interview was.
lol, this comment perfectly captures what a Lemmy user is like
I like how those people didn’t appreciate you taking away their circlejerk opportunity, so just downvoted you instead 😂
I swear half of Lemmy is just people talking about how they don’t use Twitter or Reddit.

That’s where you’re going wrong, you still need to pretend you’re doing work
I’m generally sick of hearing about Elon at all even if it’s criticizing him, but this was a good one.
The vanity is off the charts.
This is unrealistic, the client would never say thank you.
In my experience they’d carry on complaining, even after an apology and saying it’ll be put right.
I read the TLDR bot at least…
Seems like that gives 90% of the relevant info, then I view the article if there’s anything missing.
Not that it makes a difference, my opinions are formed before I even read the title. I’m dug in, and I’ll never change 😎
Bit too expensive
