For sure. The test is going to be whether people stick around once everyone gets bored of talking about reddit, or the blackout thing ends.

Yup, it’s like when a group chat splits and the split chat is entirely dedicated to trash-talking the original chat. The test for whether it’ll survive is always whether they can find something to talk about when that conversation ends. In this case, that’d be whether people will keep posting about other topics once they’ve cooled off about reddit.
