My first pokemon was Squirtle. My “I don’t care about winning” fun team would be Blastoise, Porygon (maybe Pory2), Mew, Mimikyu, Ditto (imposter), Rotom (any other than wash or fan).

Idk if I can pick one though. Mimikyu was OP in Gen 7 and he got me through a lot. Squirtle was also great in Kanto, he got me through Brock easy before I caught many others.
