How right you are, and how wrong I am. The clues were there for me to pick up, like it’s in the name, and I’ve only seen hundreds of screenshots of it and i can’t quite believe I thought this for so long without even the slightest logical thought or questioning of the reasoning. Doh!

Yeah, I’ve never been to 4chan, but think a greentext is a specific type of 4chan post (with a green background) where the poster shares some story from their life, often starting with the phrase “be me”. Apparently there’s an oft-used catchphrase response “Fake and gay”, often followed up with reasoning like “Fake: nobody wears flares any more. Gay: op is clearly lusting after his homies.”

Like I say, I’ve never been there and this might all be very incorrect.

You are completely correct. Putin used to work for the KGB back when Russia considered itself communist. Many, many things are broken, including this meme and my attempt at a reinterpretation of it.

At first I thought “Nazis wouldn’t take communist dick”, but then I remembered Trump and Putin.

(The baby isn’t Palestine, though, it’s the global trade war Trump is starting or Elon Musk or JD Vance or something.)

I was appalled.

It didn’t get passed, partly because her party got rid of her faster than you can say “unpopular economic mismanagement”, thank goodness.

The more people that treat homeless people as valuable human beings the better the world is.
