Other way around. They’re federated. This post wouldn’t be visible from hexbear and couldn’t be commented on if they weren’t federated.
You can also confirm this relatively easily by clicking the colorful “network” icon on the OP, which will load this post from lemdroid. You’ll be able to see her comment.

3·9 days agoI poked around at a couple other instances and didn’t find any. Unfortunately, I’m not willing to spend the time right now to go through the comms lists and create them myself.

The cat basically covered it - even outed my usual source. My only disagreement is that they don’t need to be emoji formatted. You can emojify anything, it’ll just look bad and take way too long to load.

Y’all have a great opportunity to make MoG’s biggest dreams come true (YPTB’s too).
So far, 19 people have downvoted this post and had their votes federate.
That doesn’t seem very nice to me.

I didn’t recommend TrueAnon despite being somewhat left because having Brace spew ableism and more as a bit definitely won’t be interpreted as “a bit” by some g*mers, and you’ve basically recommended Cum Town, which I admittedly haven’t listened to and am not particularly inclined to start.
It’ll definitely resonate with edge lords, I’m sure.
Dirtbag left types in general
Yeah, I guess that would be more of a g*mer appeal, but I’d rather try to steer people towards takes that are less cringe.
I’ll start with maybe-not-a-great recommendation - I’ve certainly seen some (sometimes valid) criticism of them, and haven’t really watched myself (mostly been in a couple various podcast episodes I’ve listened to), but at least the criticism isn’t abhorrent like Vaush. The main reason is the content approach/style/appeal to g*mers is maybe somewhat similar-ish: Hasan Piker
I think overall there are probably better options out there for content, though maybe with less appeal to that audience. A couple podcasts I’ve recommended to people previously include: Citations Needed, Red Menace, The Deprogram. The creators behind each (often) also have other content, which I’m overall less familiar with, but presume is generally good.
I’m sure there’s more good stuff out there, too.

If I missed any it was a mistake. That’s supposed to be a full list - even locked ones. For anyone subscribing from a different instance I’d skip the locked ones, but highly recommend the rest.
