  • Firefox ESR with user js and some of my personal modifications, ESR because I don’t have to worry about new stuff for 2 years. Another idea if you don’t want to worry about new stuff in browser is using Mullvad as regular browser, all you have to do is turn of always private mode but if you don’t want to mess around I’d recommend LibreWolf or Waterfox.

  • I think you’re mixing privacy with security, iPhone is secure but it’s not private, it’s slighty more private than Google Android but not what would you call private.

Samsung can soft brick your phone so basically backdoor.

Google Pixel with custom ROM like GrapheneOS or CalyxOS is considered to be best in terms of privacy.

Another cheaper alternative if you don’t want to give money to Google or spend too much is Motorola G32, G42, G52 with CalyxOS but to unlock bootloader you have to make account on their website.

  • That would be no. Even if you use ADB to remove bunch of packages that make connections you still can’t be sure if you will have privacy since stock ROM is proprietary. DNS can block some connections but Android and apps can use their own DNS if they want so it also depends.

If question was about security then yes, sticking with stock ROM is usually more secure although many argue that GrapheneOS holds highest security standard. DNS can also improve security since it can block malicious domains, that depends which DNS provider you’re using.

  • Aurora Store is 3rd party client for Google Play Store while MicroG is open source implementation of Google libraries so they are not quite comparable.

I’d say MicroG with Aurora Store is most private you can be if you really need to use Google services. You can use Aurora Store with anonymous Google Account that they provide you and MicroG is only sharing necessary data with Google servers.
